June 2022 – June 2023: Mapping the social dialogue outcomes in Europe

The German Sport University of Cologne will work with the consortium to define and analyze the social dialogue in professional sports in Europe. The final study will map the collective agreements and the social advancements of professional sports through social dialogue.

The main goal of this phase is to record and describe the collective agreements for professional sports in Europe, to identify the actors that participated in these agreements and, more generally, to understand the social progress made through the development of social dialogue in professional sports in Europe.


June 2023 – June 2024: Creation and dissemination of the guides for social dialogue in professional sports

EU Athletes and EASE will work together to identify the key steps and best practices to settle social dialogue in professional sports. These two organizations will also mobilize their networks to encourage a European social dialogue in sports field, to establish the common grounds on which they agree to work in terms of social dialogue for professional sports and To establish a roadmap towards social dialogue for professional sports at European level.
