May 2023 – December 2023 Dissemination of the Social Charter

SAVE THE DATE – NOVEMBER 15th 2023 : ESCSE Final Conference in Brussels (Belgium) to present the official version of the Charter, and to bring together all partners and organizers interested in improving their social dialogue.

The presentation will draw inspiration in the communication that was carried out with the various socioeconomic actors during the experimentation phase in order to highlight the objectives of this Social Charter to their European counterparts. The methodology will also be presented to attest the legitimacy of the project and ensure in this way its relevance.


January 2022 – May 2023 Testing the social charter

The partners responsible for the organisation of sport events (France 2023, EFCS, Italian Volleyball Federation, Olympic Committee for Slovenia) will test the social charter and gather feedback from targeted group actors. This work will allow the consortium to get a diversified feedback from different type of actors and sport events. This will lead to the drafting of the final Social Charter in presence of the whole consortium in May 2023.


October 2021 – January 2022 The elaboration of a test social charter

The Institute for Sport Governance will lead the drafting of the guidelines of the presentation and implementation of a social charter in the sport sector. The academic partners will also prepare the test social charter commitments. This test social Charter will be drafted in a meeting bringing together the whole consortium.


January 2021 – October 2021 Starter Phase

During this phase, the ASSER Institute will lead the analysis of the social framework in the organisation of sport events in Europe. The analysis will include a research on previous commitments in this context and their limits. This study should clarify the existing needs for organizers of sport events at European level.
